THE ABS-CBN PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA - Playing Beautiful Music

Being a Kapamilya has its perks... Going to orchestra performances for free... And if you get lucky, watching Aegis perform the song you've co-written in a fusion of rock and classical.

ABS-CBN recently launched it's very own ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Gerald Salonga. 

 They first performed at ABS-CBN's Flag-raising ceremony together with Aegis, to accompany ABS-CBN's corporate ad - Da Best ng Pilipino.  I'll always be mesmerized by how an orchestra play beautiful music... How each piece contribute to a heart-tugging performance.  Some would confess that they're lulled to sleep, but not me.   I'll always be captivated and will always be in awe.   I think it's the frustrated musician in me.  I must admit, I can hum songs but can't play them. So yes, you may say it's cathartic for me.

I think ABS-CBN is a perfect fit. Not too long ago, i dreamt of working in a media company. Little did i know that i'm in for a treat. Not only did i find my creative self, i am also fortunate to be able to enjoy my stay here. ABS-CBN kept me entertained. Not many company can give you a sense of fulfillment for the things you do behind a desk and at the same time, contribute something to your non-work related coinbank. For both, i'll always be grateful to ABS-CBN.  And to the Lord, for holding my hand and guiding me to the place where i should be.
