http://embassy_philippines.mofa.go.kr/english/as/embassy_philippines/visa/form/20111026/28259_file_VISA%20APPLICATION%20FORM.pdf
Step 3:
Now you would need to submit all the requirements, application form and your passport to the Korean Embassy. It's ok to submit photocopies of all the requirements. But bring the original in case they asked for it. Everything that you submitted, except your passport, wouldn't be returned back.
How to submit your visa application at the Korean Embassy:
1. Go to the Korean Embassy.
ADDRESS: 122 Upper McKinley Road, McKinley Town Center, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig city 1634, Philippines
TIME FOR APPLICATION: Monday to Friday, from 9 to 11 am only. First come, first served basis. No appointment is needed.
CONTACT INFORMATION:
(Tel) (63-2) 856-9210 visa local no. 270, 500
(FAX) (63-2) 856-9008, 9019, 9024(Consular section)
(E-Mail) philippines@mofa.go.kr, ph04@mofa.go.kr (Consular section)
- The Korean Embassy is located at the corner of Upper Mckinley Rd. and C5 Rd, right beside the British Embassy.
- From Guadalupe MRT Station or Market-Market, take the FTI-C5 jeepney. It will take 20 minutes from Guadalupe MRT Station and 7 minutes from Market-Market.
- From the Venice Piazza at Mckinley Hill, there is a free shuttle bus that will take you to Upper McKinely Rd. The ride will take about 10 minutes. The Embassy is within walking distance from the last Bust Stop at Mckinley Rd.
- When you take a cab/taxi, ask the driver to drop you off at the Korean Embassy at Mckinley Hill along C5 road, beside the British Embassy.
Note: I took the FTI-C5 jeepney but I got lost. So I just took a cab.
2. Once you get there, get a guest ID at the reception.
3. Inside the premises, there's only one doorway available for visa applicants. Proceed to the doorway.
When I arrived before 9am, there were around 15 people ahead of me. Batches of 5 people were allowed inside.
4. Line up for the assessment of your requirements.
5. Get a queue number.
After all our papers were checked, I was given a queue number. Three windows were opened for applicants.
6. Wait for your queue number to be flashed on any of the three windows.
7. When your number is flashed, proceed to that window. Hand out your passport, application and requirements to the lady assessor (i'm not sure if that's how you call them). She would check your papers and gave you a slip. The date and time of pick of your passport would be stated there.
How to get your passport (hopefully, with a Korean Visa):
1. On the day of your appointment, go to the Korean Embassy.
TIME FOR PICK-UP: Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 4pm only.
2. Get a guest ID at the reception.
3. Go to the exact location where you filed your application. Present your appointment slip at the receiving area near the entrance door. Get a queue number.
4. Wait for your number to be flashed. Go to the window where your number was flashed.
5. Present your slip. Your passport will be handed out to you.
6. Before leaving the premises, check your passport for your Korean visa. Double check the spelling of all the details/entries on your visa.
Some Notes:
1. Getting a Korean visa is fairly easy and it's free.
Visa Fee: 59 days (or less) stay in Korea - Gratis; 60 to 90 days stay in Korea - PHP1,800.00
Processing Time: 3 working days (for those who have visas of OECD member countries); 5 working days (for those who do not have visas of OECD member countries)
2. Come early. So you wouldn't need to rush or panic or be pressed for time.
3. If you'll commute (or even if you're driving), make sure you know your directions. So you wouldn't get lost like I did.
Good luck! South Korea is waiting for you!
