| Heavenly Truffles |
Today is August 7, 2011. To say that up to this time I haven't tasted a chocolate truffle as pure as Truffettes de France is just me being truthful.
Without apprehension or doubt whatsoever, to me this truffle belongs to my elite list of chocolates to try before I die. Honestly, it's in the upper echelon. I couldn't possible say no. Without fail, even if I resolve not to, I would catch myself giving in to the urge. I would dip my fingers in the chocolate jar every time these are passed around. It's pure indulgence. It's soft, cocoa dusted melt-in-your-mouth goodness is still unmatched. It has a distinct not-too-sweet sweetness that leaves you wanting more. I can finish one bag in one sitting but common sense prevents me. Mind you, will power is not enough. I need to coerce someone to bring the bag away from me. I would yearn for the day that this truffle would finally meet it's match. But for the meantime, the quest continues. Go choco!
