Pancit Habhab

The Habhab - Lucban's Famous Pancit

I have recently experienced eating Lucban, Quezon's famous Pancit Hab-hab. Thanks to Buddy's, the province's celebrated pancit is made available to Manilenos. I can say it's really worth a try.
Although I ate it with fork, unlike how it's eaten in Lucban, sans utensils, I still enjoyed it. It's delicioso, in a simple kind of way.

True to the pancit habhab tradition, I tried seasoning it with vinegar. It still tastes good but this time it has a tangy bite. Honestly, I preferred the plain habhab, with its generous amount of veggies and chunks of meat. I think I went back 3 times for refills. Next time you want to try out a noodle dish that is not your usual canton, bihon or Malabon, habhab have my thumbs up.
