LOVE YOU FOREVER

There's this book that I bought for my daughter - Love You Forever. It's a story of an evolving relationship between a mother and her son. I have read this book to her a couple of times but I made a tune out of these lines...

I love you forever
I like you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be.

My daughter loves music. She can carry a tune with ease. And she sings whenever she feels like it. And she learns easily. Last night, out of the blue, I just sang the first line...

I love you forever...

and my daughter took it from there.

I love you forever
I love you for always
As long as I'm living

and then came this kicker... My MAMA you'll be.

My heart swelled. I embraced her. I love her. I guess as a mother, I will always have sweet suprises. And I'll always be grateful for them.
