It
was a lovely day to go to Everland. We went to Gangnam for our Bus
5002 ride. Lo and behold, the line was longer than expected. We waited
for about 30 minutes for our turn. It took us around an hour before we
finally arrived at Everland's grounds. But a shuttle brought us to the
Park. And there were droves of people. Talk about going on a weekday.
So we lined up for our tickets (they have a special lane for
foreigners) and went in.
This
outing was extra special because we went with a Filipino family friend.
We went together with the Baldonados - 4 on 4. We really had a grand
time. Below are the top attractions that we tried.
1. K Pop Hologram
We
enjoyed the hologram concert of Super Junior. It really felt like the
boy band was performing live, especially since there was a legion of
teenagers screaming their lungs out right in front of us.
2. Racing Coaster
2. Racing Coaster
It
was so beautiful. The garden was full of tulips in various colors. It
was even more beautiful than the tulips in Singapore's Gardens by the
Bay.
5. Festival Train

We were able to take in more of the view because we rode this. It toured us around the Magic Garden.
6. Madagascar Live!
6. Madagascar Live!
We
were able to catch Alex and the gang in a live musical presentation.
The whole thing was in Korean though but we don't really mind because
it was very entertaining.
7. Safari World
7. Safari World
The
place where we experienced the living nature with wild animals asuch as
lions, tigers and bears while riding inside an enclosed shuttle.
8. Amazon Express
8. Amazon Express
We
rode a floating buggy that led us to an exciting journey through a
580-meter jungle. Although we were protected by a plastic cover, we
still got wet! But no one's complaining.
9. Lost Valley
9. Lost Valley
One
of Everland's newest attraction. We rode an amphibious car and met
some exotic wild animals from around the world in an ultra-large
safari-like attraction.
10. Moonlight Parade
10. Moonlight Parade
Much like Disney's Electric Parade, this gave us a spectacle of lights.
We got a lift from an open chair-ride from European Adventure to American Adventure.
12. Rolling X Train
12. Rolling X Train
Ramir
and R, rode this exciting super-fast roller coaster with two
360-degrees complete revolutions for two consecutive times. They even forgot to take a photo. If this is not enjoyment, I don't know
what is.
The park closed at around 10pm, and we left around that time. The kids were still high from all the rides. We rode the Everline going back to our respective hostels.
