Lotte's Magic Island |
What can I say? The kids had a grand time. Well S and I stayed indoors for the more child-friendly rides and activities while R and Ramir went to Magic island for some daring rides. I basically sat around and took photos while S played around and enjoyed herself. I also prod her into trying all the kiddie rides, which she gamely obliged. My R on the contrary needs no further coaxing as she's already done the choosing and the lining up on her own.
Lotte's Entrance |
I would like to give you a rundown of what we did in Lotte World. We stayed from 11am to closing (10pm). We weren't able to cover everything but the ones we tried were children-approved. This day, they ruled. With our approval, of course.
1. Lotty's Kidstoria
We spent a lot of time here. S played with balls, climbed stairs, got around tube tunnels and slid on flower petals. It was heaven for her. I think we entered Kidstoria thrice.

We rode this cup-like container with character designs then it bounces every so often. Of course, it was a rather uneventful ride but I guess to S, the bouncing was something she enjoys.
3. Boong Boong Car
S enjoyed this very much that she instructed me not to interfere with her driving. We even took separate seats so that she'll be assured of her independence.
4. Brother Moon and Sister Suns
This was R's idea. She rode this thrice. The idea of falling I think excites her.
5. Eureka
The flying car was very attracting. And the idea that with pumping comes flight was something that piques S and R's interest.
6. Aeronauts Balloon Ride
Upon our entry, we already knew that we'll go around the park riding a pseudo-hot air balloon. Good thing, an hour before closing, the line had thinned considerably so we were able to board.
7. Marvelous Art Museum
It was like a trick art museum. With the right pose and angling, we were able to produce nice trick art photos.
8. Swing Tree
R and Ramir had a great time spinning around a tree while sitting on a leaf chair.
9. 4D Shooting Theater
R and Ramir wore 4D glasses and embark on a shooting adventure. It was R's claim to fame that it was a close competition between her and Ramir. Only Ramir won.
10. Jumping Fish
It was suppose to make you feel like you're riding a flying fish that jumps up and down the water. R enjoyed this too.
Other Attractions:
1. We enjoyed watching the parades. We saw two. The Fantasy Mask Parade in the afternoon and the night parade with lighted floats similar to that of Disney's electric parade.
3. We also got a free entrace to the Fantasy Forest where we had close encounters with small animals and insects. We also got creative with the different installations.
4. We saw the circus performance at the Garden Stage. Pinocchio and Alice were speaking in Korean but we didn't mind. It was a good show still even with the language barrier.
