Two in Tow: Baguio Adventure with Kids - Day 1

Ramir and I were supposed to go to Sagada for 4 days. But our kids wouldn't allow us to go without them. So we detoured to Baguio, with the kids.  First time on our own. Two kids in tow. A six-hour bus ride. One unforgettable adventure.

It was a leap of faith and a test of patience. Honestly, it was quite stressful especially since the bus we took wasn't deluxe. It doesn't have a comfort room and we have our recently-toilet-trained-toddler with us. But we prevailed. Armed with a lot of pasensiya and lakas ng loob, we went up to the Philippines' summer capital for our post New Year lakwatsa.

By 7am of January 2, we were at Victory Liner's Caloocan Bus Terminal. We arrived in Baguio at around 1pm.

We took a cab going to Holiday Park Hotel at Abanao Extension.

After we checked in, we had our late lunch at Cafe by the Ruins. Their Pinikpikan was legendary.  And they have wild rice too.

We went to Burnham Park after. The kids had a grand time boating, playing and biking. The playground for kids was such a hit.
boating at the lagoon
grand time at the kid's playground
biking and some goofin'
We walked to Session Road for our dinner at Pizza Volante. Their pomelo salad was the best.  After our stint, we went back to our hotel on foot. The weather in Baguio was perfect for walking.  Parang San Francisco lang ang peg.
