I'm no mall rat. Because everytime I go, I feel like I was robbed. I would often say to myself, "Nadukutan ba ko? Bakit ito na lang ang natira sa pera ko?" Then I would inspect what I bought only to realize that, "Yep, no robbery there." No regrets though, only I always wondered whether I could have bought them at a cheaper price elsewhere. And tada!!! I was right. 168 Mall in Divisoria - a haven for a cheapskate like me. I wouldn't debate with anyone regarding going to the mall and buying branded, expensive products. It's their thing. And hey, they have the money for it. Well, I have money too, only it's enough for Divisoria. So my ever reliable shopping buddy (Ramir), supported me to the hilt when I told him that we'll have a spree at 168. And sans our car, we braved throngs and throngs of people on a fine Saturday morning.
Let me give you a run down of what I've found for me and the girls.
1. Gilyanna - a place for the girls. Dresses and coats for P250 to P400. And they have a nice fitting room too.
2. 199 Jeans Store - I never thought that I can buy 3 jeans for P597 pesos. And it fits me well too.
3. Kids' dresses and tops for 50 pesos - I bought one of these in ABS-CBN tiangge for a 100. At that time I thought it was already a steal. Until I went here.
4. Wedges for 300. Enough said.
If only I have more money, I would have hoarded more. Ok,
kuripot na kung kuripot but in this day and age where choices abound, why not right? If it fits me and my wallet, I can never say no.
Pwede nang karerin ang pamimili! Happy shopping!
