We had a Japanese visitor. We dared to impress. We brought him to a Japanese
carinderia... In Hermosa, Tondo, Manila. And boy he was impressed. Tasted like real Japanese food, he said. We ordered Gyoza (Japanese dumplings), Tempura (battered and deep fried vegetables and shrimps),
Chicken
Teriyaki (grilled chicken smothered with sweet soy teriyaki sauce),
Fish fillet (fish dipped in batter and deep fried), and Okonomiyaki
(Japanese pancake).
Kitchen right beside the street... Menu in a white cartolina... Chopsticks... Family... Authentic Japanese food...
Great price. Good food. Great company. Not bad for first timers.
