We stayed at Casa Fiesta last February 2010. I was given 3 weeks to scout for a budget friendly place to stay in Boracay. I was frantic but I was firm. I have 3 basic requirements - It should be affordable, beach front and within walking distance from D Mall. I wasn't willing to compromise just because I'm pressed for time. Well, it was like wishing to a fairy godmother. Wishes do come true with some very welcome add-ons.
So why Casa Fiesta? My top 5 answers.

4 and 5. VERY HELPFUL OWNER AND STAFF - It's our first time in Boracay. Casa Fiesta was referred to me by an office mate. I just texted the owner - Ate Josie and inquired about the availability of rooms. She answered right away. Then she told me how to book the rooms through Metrobank. After I deposited the money, I texted her again and she confirmed promptly.
We were a family of 15 going there and we really don't know how to go from Kalibo to Caticlan Jetty port, it was Ate Josie who gave us the contact number of Nino for our van rental. He gave us a good rate - Php4,000 for all of us (round trip).
When we arrived in Caticlan, she instructed us to contact her when we arrived at our agreed pick up point since it was already night time. So we did. Her helper Raymond, fetched us and assisted us in carrying our baggage, up to our rooms. Raymond also brings out the lounge chairs for us every single day and they ask us politely if we want to have our rooms cleaned. They also provide us with water near the gate so that we could wash off the sand. I think they're thoughtful.
Lastly, I think, this really nailed it for Casa Fiesta, they treated us like family. My 3 year old niece had a fever when we arrived in Boracay. Everything seemed fine when she started complaining of stomach pains. She wouldn't eat, was really crying and no amount of soothing can make her stop. This got my brother worried. He decided that we would be bringing my niece to the nearest hospital or clinic. At 2am, we were knocking on Ate Josie's door to inquire as to how we can get to the nearest hospital. When she was instructing Raymond to look for a tricycle, a eureka moment happened - "it might be constipation". We realized that my niece hadn't pooped. We told Ate Josie that we'll hold off going to the hospital but requested her to just direct us to the nearest pharmacy where we can buy some suppositories. She instructed one of her assistants to buy for us. After about 20 minutes, her assistant came back with the "goods." As to where she got it at 2am was beyond us. My niece felt better the next day. The fever was gone, she was able to poop and she also gained back her appetite. We were very thankful that we stayed in Casa Fiesta and we're glad that Ate Josie assisted us. Being in a "foreign" place for the first time can add to the panic but she made us felt like everything was going to be ok.
Boracay was a good trip for our family. And Casa Fiesta was a good part of it.
