A Different Kind of Cool: Puzzle Mansion in Tagaytay City

There's a place in Tagaytay where different kinds of puzzles are displayed in a room. And it holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles by an individual. The Filipina record holder is Georgina Gil Lacuna. And she owns this awe-inspiring Puzzle Mansion.

It's through her collections that I came to realize that there are several kinds of puzzles. We saw 3D's, circulars, paper and wooden types. It was a nice treat for the kids.

What's worth the trip:
1. Puzzles everywhere
Puzzles in different shapes and sizes. And you can have your souvenir puzzle too. The best part is being a witness to the largest jigsaw puzzle collection in the world.

2. Coconut Cream Pie
Definitely not a buco pie. It's creamy with shreds of coconut meat with a crumb crust that I'm not familiar with but I truly like. It's best served when chilled.

How to get there:
The Puzzle Mansion is off the beaten path. But there are signages around so it's quite impossible to miss. It's also located on the lower portion of a sloping terrain. So getting back up the main road is quite a challenge for a non-SUV. There are parking spaces on the upper portion of the Mansion. You can park your car up and a jeepney service can bring you down.
