Going Back to Bohol - Day 2

Day 2 - Bohol Countryside Tour
We were picked up at 8am. And once again, we're on a roll.

Prony the Python
We met a python. Definitely longer than me, and i think my youngest can fit in his belly. It doesn't offer much but for the benefit of holding a python and being in a cage with it, pwede na rin.

Loboc Eco-Adventure
This was by far my favorite activity. You get to do the zipline twice. The Loboc River was such a sight to behold from our vantage point (some hundred feet up, I think). My daughter R had a grand time. And Ramir too. Since Yayay can't do it and S is still very young for it, they both just did the canopy ride.

Hanging Bridge
It was quite an experience walking on a bridge strong enough to hold you, yet your mind can't help picturing you falling down the bridge.  The squeaky sound adds to the thrill.

Bilar Man-made Forest
Mahogany trees left and right...where the sun's rays looked like the hands of God. And the bend in the road was simply beautiful.

Loboc River Cruise and Buffet Lunch
Eating should always be a treat. This buffet lunch happens in a floating restaurant. It's memorable because I chowed down on as many shrimps and fruits and chicken as I can while cruising a beautiful emerald river. And we get to watch a cultural show and dance tinikling too.

Clarin Ancestral House
There wasn't really much to see but I let the kids go for them to know how it was like during the olden times. The Clarin House is owned by the Clarins, a prominent family in Bohol, and their abode is probably one of the oldest home-turned-museum in the area.

Baclayon Church
The oldest church in Bohol. I love its interiors.  They say that Padre Pio's image appeared on one of the church's outside walls.  Can you see it? (Clue: It's in the middle photo.)

Blood Compact Shrine
There's really not much to see here. But we got to have some pictures for posterity. A little bit of history lesson wouldn't hurt.

We ended our day with some pasalubong shopping.
