The Delayed Post Series - The Anvaya Exprerience

I can write this post. Or not. Then I realized that I cannot not write it because it haunts me... every single time I thought of not writing it. So here it is... the product of procrastination... a delayed post. This marks the first (and definitely not the last) of my delayed post series.

When I first heard of Anvaya Cove, I was intrigued.  I googled it and a plethora of photos and stories were opened. The words - exclusive, for members only - stuck in my head.  At first I have accepted defeat.  We wouldn't be able to have an Anvaya experience.  Period.  End of story.  Then I stumbled upon Sharlene Dodd.  And their Anvaya home.  She's a Filipina based in UK and she has a holiday home in Anvaya.  I tried my luck.  I reached her through email.  She directed me to her brother, Dennis de Guzman.  I inquired about our preferred dates, he gave the go signal, I deposited the money, and off to Anvaya Cove we go.

THE DODD'S RESIDENCE
The house was great. It was a perfect combination of zen and chic.  Open floor plan. Tasteful furnishings.  4 spacious bedrooms with bathrooms (3 of which have airconditioning units). You can watch TV, bring in your food and even use their utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen paraphernalia.  Eto na nga ang peg namin ng ideal house.

We had a great stay here.

THE ANVAYA COVE BEACH AND NATURE PARK
We had a grand time here.  The kids love the pool.  And the beach was clean.  The lounge chairs were great and the food was good and affordable too.  The Ayala guys (Anvaya is Ayala Land's first leisure development project) really thought of convenience and fun when they made this resort.

TOP 3 REASONS WHY WE LOVE ANVAYA COVE

1. Versatility - They made sure that there were things to do for both kids and adults.
Everything in one place - pools, beach, food, places of interests.  There's a library, a game room and an activity room for the toddlers.  There's also a watch tower, for a bird's eye view of the place.

The beach is clean.  The water is clear.

Food is great and affordable too.

Something to do for everyone - Pool, Game Room, Playground and Activity Room

2.  Convenience - Almost everything is provided for - towel, shampoo, soap, powder, lotion, even cotton buds.  There's a spin dryer for all the wet clothes.  And there's a pretty water basin near the pool area to wash off the sand. Staffs were friendly and attentive too.  And it impresses me more that in this secluded sanctuary, we were able to hear mass.

This is the first time I experienced a cashless resort.  Upon arriving at the club, we checked in at the Welcome Pavilion.  A plastic card similar to that of a credit card was issued for our group.  We used this for all our transactions inside the resort.  At the end of our stay, we surrendered our card.  They just swiped it and all our transactions appeared on their monitor.  We verified each entry and settled our bill.  It was so convenient.

3. Enjoyment - Vacation we want, vacation we get.
