paLAtable! (The Los Angeles Food Series) - Value for Money at Denny's

$2, $4, $6, $8. What would it be? I chose $4. And what did I get?

This...
My own chicken wraps for breakfast. Not bad for $4.
Two warm flour tortillas with grilled chicken on chipotle (smokey Mexican) sauce topped with cheese and lettuce served with crisp tortilla chips. Not bad for breakfast.

This was my first time here but I enjoyed it. Denny's is a testament that good food doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. With their value menu, food can be enjoyed in 3 easy steps. Order from the menu, food will arrive on your table and eat. I wanted to order more. To sample as much as I can. But American portions are just over the top for me. I couldn't even bring myself to finish what I ordered. I was the perennial, "may I have a box?" queen just so no food would be wasted. Other than the experience of being in another country, the other thing that excited me was the food. I realized that restaurant hopping or food tasting for that matter is already an event in itself.
